About outlvl
outlvl is a pay-to-rank leaderboard built specifically for indie game developers. The concept is simple: pay to rank your game above the rest. Your bid decides your position. The more you bid, the higher you appear. No algorithms, no engagement metrics, no hidden criteria — just a transparent, bid-based ranking system.
Why we built it
Indie game discovery is broken. Steam has over 16,000 new releases per year. Most indie games get buried within days of launch. Traditional advertising is expensive and complex. We wanted to create the simplest possible way for an indie developer to get their game in front of players — no marketing degree required.
How it works
You paste your game link (Steam, Epic, itch.io, or any website), choose your bid amount starting at $1, and pay via Stripe. Your game immediately appears on the public leaderboard, ranked by total bid amount. Bids are cumulative — you can come back and bid again later to climb higher. Every listing shows your game title, description, cover art, genre, and platform tags, all auto-fetched from your game page.
Who built this
outlvl was created by Daniel, an indie maker and developer based in Europe. It is part of the HyperCue portfolio of tools and products for creators and developers. You can find Daniel on Twitter/X.
